As this Cleanse winds down, it has become increasingly harder to complete on a daily basis. I got sidetracked by family events and lack of sleep (like 6 hours total in three days!). But I am getting back on the path.
Today was all about the Light of Devotion and how we are devoted to many things in our lives, especially, but perhaps least effectively, things and thought patterns that no longer serve us. I know this is true for me. This is again about releasing a list of devotions that no longer serve you and declaring, through the art of storytelling, what your new devotions are to be.
For me, I found that I use my past as a barometer for my present and that I have been devoted to mediocrity in order to “fit-in”;both have stemmed from my childhood. I have also had a devotion to using sugar to fill a void inside of me, especially processed sugar.
But in re-writing my story, I am committed to living out loud the expression of my highest will, connecting with people on a soul-level and that All Possibilities Are POSSIBLE!
Here again, though, I have run into semantics issues with the term Devotion. So often, I have had to change the wording so I don’t run into so much resistance to it. But I suppose this is not different than what I have been doing for the rest of my life–changing things so they work for me. So goes life, right?
All is Well and Right with My World.
Today I ask: Is this my Highest Thought?
