Do you still think the same way you did when you were five? Of course not! Over the years, you have learned more information than a five-year-old brain could ever take in all at once. And with this information, you have been able to change your opinion about a great many things.
Ladies, we are particularly prone to feeling guilty over changing our minds. But I’m here to tell you that’s a useless train of thought!
Yes, useless!
In any given moment, let’s say you are feeling anxiety about some event that is to happen in very near future, let’s say within two hours. When that event has completed successfully, do you still feel anxious about it. I’m guessing probably not, based on the information you have now gained (that the event went off well).
Guess what you have just done—you have changed your mind about something!
And you can do that whenever you want!
Now this might drive the men in your life crazy, but that’s okay too, they’ll deal with it.
But you have every right to change your mind whenever you feel like it! That’s right, WHENEVER.
Purple might have been your favorite color for the past 30 years and you might wake up one day and decide that green is your new best friend! Do It! Own your mind-changing decisions!
Whatever you are thinking at the moment is the exact thing that you need to be thinking about right then. But if it changes in the next moment, that’s okay too.
We women, feel guilty about so many things, what’s on our minds should not be one of them. In fact removing the words “guilt” and “should” from your vocabulary will do wonders for you! (They have for me!)
Yoda says: “Do or do not, there is no try.” I leave you with that today. But whatever you are or are not doing, it’s perfectly, wonderfully OKAY!
Do You Love Your Life Now!? I DO (because I change my mind and I’m okay with it!)
