Ladies, do you know what’s really sexy!? Being able to walk into a bar, club or restaurant in a flyy outfit, some baaaaaaddddd heels and sitting down to treat yourself to whatever it is on the menu that you want!
That is a Super Sexy Mama!
Bills paid on time and in full every month. She’s getting sexier!
Able to provide for all your own needs. Hot damn, Lady, you are getting sexier by the minute.
You’re stable and have big dreams. Wow! You’re one hot tamale!
Can I, as one woman to another say all of this to you and mean it! Absolutely.
I was talking with a good friend of mine and we were talking about what it takes for a lady to be a ‘kept woman’, what it means to have a Sugar Daddy who takes care of all your needs. She and I agreed that we both make a poor sport of it.
There is something to be said for a man who takes care of everything for you, if that’s what you want. But I want t make the case for Independent Women, Beyonce’ Style, Charlie’s Angels in tow.
My thought is this: you should be able to care of yourself and your needs by yourself. A Partner and pooling resources is great, especially from a financial perspective, but I believe that every woman, indeed, every person, should be able to provide for their own needs.
This doesn’t have to be a Park Avenue Mansion, you don’t have to be able to afford a home in Beverly Hills, but a cozy little nook you can call your own, that’s not asking too much is it?
My friend and I were also talking about men buying us drinks, or rather the lack of men who buy us drinks. The common perception for both of us is that we can take care of our own business, which we can.
However, we also agree, that when done tastefully, it is appreciated when a man does offer to buy us a drink.
But we are no longer in the times of old. In this modern day, women have stepped up their game, and they are more than capable of providing for themselves. Providing EVERYTHING for themselves, in fact.
This is by no means taking away from our sisters before us. The point here is merely that times have changed and so have women’s perceptions of ourselves.
Most women nowadays are capable of taking care of themselves and are in fact, doing so more and more. Many households have both partners working and contributing financially, sometimes with the woman making more than the man.
Increasingly, women are the main or the sole breadwinner in their households. This is definitely a drastic change from times gone by.
In the 1950’s, the overwhelming majority of women stayed at home and ran the household. But since women began working en mass, this has changed dramatically. Both ways have their Sexy!
Also increasingly however, women are taking charge. And this means that yes, we can pay for our own dinner or drinks, yes we can pay our mortgage or rent (on a lease with just our names on it!), yes we pay all of our bills on time, yes we are independent women.
And there is a lot to be said for this.
Pure – D- Sexiness!
This is not to say, though, that you must only take care of yourself and never have a partner. No, no, no, not at all. Partnerships should be between two, completely whole people. In fact, a good Partner will make this whole deal that much sweeter. I am saying that when left to your own devices, it is Sexy, one woman to another kind of Sexy, when you are able to meet all your needs by yourself.
We all have to learn to be okay by ourselves!
