“Hey Sexy!”  You ever had someone say that to you?  Have you ever ignored it because you didn’t think it was true?

Removing potential ignorance from the phrase, You Are A Sexy Mama!istock_000007482541xsmall-confident-woman-with-top-hat-and-leather-gloves

Maybe you just don’t know it yet!

Sexy Mamas are sexy inside and out.

Sexy Mamas exude confidence.

Sexy Mamas can work a room by simply walking into it.

Sexy Mamas walk with purpose.

You Are That Sexy Mama!

Now let me tell you why.

We all have a Sexy Mama somewhere inside of us.  Some of us wear her like a coat, which we can slip on or off.  And yet others of us wear her like an undergarment, meant for special eyes only.  Whichever way we choose, we are all Sexy Mamas!

Have you ever seen an “It” Woman—a woman who knows she’s got it!?  Exactly what does she “got”?

Being Sexy comes from the inside and tends to take over once it’s out.

Being Sexy is a state of mind.

Instead of thinking to yourself that you are dumpy and unattractive, think, “I am one Sexy Mama!”  Guess what happens, when you say this to yourself over and over?  YOU BECOME THAT SEXY MAMA!!

The key is to take all your negative self-talk—constantly bashing and beating yourself up (“dumpy and unattractive”) —and reshape them into the keys of your wonderful future.  The more you tell yourself how sexy you are, the more you will start to believe it ands BE it!  You will become the “IT” woman everybody is buzzing about.

Remember the story of Cinderella (I love the version with Brandy, Whitney Houston, Whoopi Goldberg, Jason Alexander and Bernadette Peters—and did any of you want to marry that Prince—I did—but I digress . . . . J).  Remember the part when she first walks into the Ball, how everybody took notice and the Prince just had to know who she was?

This is the Essence of a Sexy Mama.

The ball gown and glass slippers didn’t make Cinderella the Sexiest Woman in the room.  No, no, it was the way she felt while she had the gown on.  Her Fairy Godmother told her that she had what it took all along and that the fancy gown and pretty things only added to her own feeling.

istock_000005645875xsmall-stroke-of-midnightAfter all, didn’t all the pretty things disappear at the stroke of midnight!?  And didn’t the Prince still want to marry her because he thought her the Sexiest thing alive?  Even in rags?

That (Beautiful!) Prince knew that Cinderella’s Sexy Mama-ness was on the inside.  He didn’t want the step-sisters who only carried their sexy on the outside, he wanted the one whose true Sexiness came from the inside.

Let us learn from Cinderella, what true Sexiness is and where it comes from.  Sexy is not having all the latest clothes or getting buried in all the latest fashions.  Not, not at all.

Sexy is being the lovely woman you truly are, carrying yourself with your own courage branded on your sleeve.  Sexy is not being a vivacious vixen, but being the thoughtful, caring woman that you already are.  Being sexy is not a matter of someone else telling you so, but a matter of you believing it for yourself, from yourself.

Go Ahead Ladies!  Get your Sexy On!
