2) (RE)Energize!

I have a friend who is always pushing me. He believes in me more than I believe in myself sometimes. Our relationship has grown and evolved so much, sometimes it’s hard to believe!
He pushed me to go to an event that I would otherwise not have attended. But I did! And it was GREAT!
The people I met there were awesome! And we played a Jeopardy game, which was a lot of fun! I even won it! When I started out the evening, I was a little nervous, but I walked away feeling wonderful, and having faith in people again!
And all because my friend pushed me to go to this meeting!
He is wonderful and a necessary addition to my life. But so was pushing the baby bird out of the nest and encouraging her to go to a meeting where she might be uncomfortable—also wonderful and a necessary addition to my life!
But that’s what we all need to do for each other, push each other to grow and learn to fly!
Believe me when I tell you your flight will be much more fun if you take other people along for the ride! Of course sometimes you will have to fly solo. And sometimes you will be flying at a different speed than those around you. But darnit, if you don’t laugh and remember the times you spend with others!
