This is one of my all time favorite quotes, and anytime I have reason to use it, I do!

What about you? Are you in a place where you feel valued and encouraged to make your dreams a reality-to let your light shine? Or are you overworked, poorly appreciated and if one more thing happens, you just might go postal on someone (no offense to our fine postal workers!).
Downplaying ourselves never serves us. If you mute yourself, make yourself black and white or grayscale, for the benefit of someone else, you are not serving anyone. And you are certainly not living up to your highest potential (which, btw, is LIMITLESS!)
I have a Newsflash for you: WE ARE ALL MEANT TO SHINE!
And truly “Shiny” People will only help you shine brighter.

Isn’t it better to be the glorious rainbow, bursting with color and richness and depth, than the sickly carbon copy!?

I tell you IT IS!!

Which appears brighter, one flashlight or a stadium full of them? Have you ever seen those sports events where they have incredible half-time shows where some creative genius comes up with all these fancy color/light spectrums (think Michael Jackson and Heal the World or the opening to the 2008 Beijing Olympics).
Somebody had to start that, had to burn one candle of an idea, and then others joined and the light got brighter and brighter.

And so it is with “Shiny” people too. Someone who truly knows how to Shine will automatically make those around her shine too. And collectively, they can light the world!

So C’Mon, let’s Light up the world! Have Courage!
