Today is the day before the New Year. This time of year is filled with remembrances of the old and promises of the new. Many people make and break “new year’s resolutions before the first week in January has passed.
This is a time of reflection on music of the year, or people who have passed away during the year or historical events and occurrences that have happened throughout the year, etc, etc. The lists of “of the year” could go on forever (and, btw, we tend to repeat the same ones every single year).
Recently, I was in conversation with a woman and she said to me, “Charli, I have a feeling that 2010 is going to be a huge year for both of us.” And I want to pass that wish along to you.
Reflecting on the past is great, but thinking about things you can’t get back or change, only serves a limited purpose.
Instead, why not make that plan on how you can make this upcoming year the best one of your life. Why not make the commitment to go back to school or start your business or ask for that promotion!
Why not make this the Year YOU CHANGE EVERYTHING!!!?
I promise you the only thing that was ever stopping you was yourself. Stop making excuses and make this the year you DO IT! Why not make this the year of all your dreams coming true!
There will always be other things you can spend your money on. There will always be a better time you can start it. But in the words of Jim Rohn: “Why? Why Not? Why Not You? Why Not Now?”
