2) The Great Transformation!
Hello My Beloved Reader,
It has been a long time, I know. There has been so much going on in my life these past few months, frankly, I have been a bit overwhelmed. The need to write to you has been super active this morning, and the message I’m getting is that you too might be able to garner lessons from these things going on in my life.
These past few months have found me with everything shaken up and turned topsy-turvy. I haven’t known which way is up, or been able to differentiate any directions or paths at all for that matter. Much of this time I have been cocooned, wrapped up in the fetal position of my own emotions. In school, I’ve learned this term to be Transformation. But that is putting it lightly.
In fact, I’ve found that everything I used to “know” has changed and I no longer recognize it, including my Self. At times this has been disconcerting, to say the least. At other times it has been downright frightening to not Know who I am anymore and to have the certainty I once knew about so many things to not be true at all. I know that the relationship of the cosmos to itself, specifically Grandmother Moon to Mama Earth to Papa Sun has been doing some crazy things as well and this is some of the cause of all this great shaking-up. That’s partly why I am writing to you, because I’d bet you are also experiencing a great shake-up in your own life.
And yet through all this turning over, I have found that certain seeds were indeed planted and are now beginning to sprout. In fact, one of the big lessons I am learning is that a seed cannot grow unless it first cracks open completely. So too, a butterfly cannot come about unless and until the caterpillar is willing to let go of all it used to be for the greater it can be. And even Butterflies have to completely liquefy, shielded from the rest of the world, before they are ready to come out and play.
That has been me these past few months, in the midst of my own Great Transformation. I have been largely reclusive and in my cocoon allowing my liquid state to simply Be. I’m learning how to do that too: Be. Simply.
